The kitchen is a masterful marrying of eclectic materials. The imposing ink blue blends in effortlessly with the “noce canaletto” wood and the elegant worktop in pure matt black ceramic with white veins, illuminated by black coloured downlights.
The dining table gives a sense of continuity using the same materials combined with different shapes of Thonet’s black iconic chairs in bentwood and cane work.
The imposing kitchen island is accentuated with blue leather bar stools creating a versatile, warm and aesthetically pleasing area and blending the three core materials used in the kitchen.
Tom Dixon’s differently shaped Beat pendants adorn the dining table. These matt black pendants feature a contrasting warm, golden interior. Made from hand spun brass sculpted by artisan craftsmen in Northern India, the beaten interior is re-purposed to refract and reflect a soft and warm luminosity.
All appliances are by Miele and the kitchen is equipped with a Nespresso machine and SMEG’s 50s Style toaster and kettle.
